Moppet Togs Opens Doors on Fall 2008 Sale for Volunteers and Consignors

Boise's biggest children's consignment sale is opening its doors today to its volunteers and consignors for the Moppet Togs Fall 2008 Pre-sale gala. This year we have over 20,000 items in inventory and expect most of the 225 consignors and volunteers to attend.

Doors open to the public Thursday morning September 18th at 10:00 am. And, if last year is any indication, the line will start to form at about 8:00 am. "This year we have added more checkout stations, additional credit card machines and will have more volunteers on hand to speed up checkout," indicated Karie Skamser, Moppet Togs Founder and Managing Partner. "We are expecting over 5,000 shoppers and are ready." Mrs. Skamser continued.

Moppet Togs started its semi-annual children's consignment sale in 2005 and it has grown into the biggest children's consignment sale in the Treasure Valley. With Boise's struggling economy, Moppet Togs expects to have its most productive sale ever and donate even more children's clothes and all things kids to local charities such as City Lights.

I have been consigning with Moppet Togs since it started in 2005 and it has been realy fun to watch it grow into what it is today. Some of us Moppet Togs Mom's kinda feel like we are a family and really enjoy getting together twice per year to consign and shop at Moppet Togs. So, thanks to Karie and Karen, Michelle and all the other volunteers for all their hard work.
